General Shipping Information

Global Delivery: We offer worldwide delivery of our products.

Address Requirements: Courier companies do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses. We request you to provide a full street address with the pin code/zip code and a valid telephone/mobile number for seamless delivery.

Delivery Confirmation (NSR): Please note that residential shipments in the USA and many other countries are often delivered on an NSR (No Signature Required) basis. The courier drops the parcel at the given address, and it is considered Delivered only. We strongly suggest you keep track of your shipments using the tracking details shared after an order is shipped.

Non-Shipping Days: We do not ship products on Sundays and public holidays in India, as our logistic partners do not offer pick-up services on those days.

Address Errors: Once an order is dispatched, if the order/product is returned to us because of an incomplete address or wrong address provided by the customer, we are not responsible in such cases and will not provide any refunds.
Shipping Cost
- Domestic & International Shipping: Shipping charges will be additional and calculated based on the weight of the selected products and the final delivery location at checkout.
Shipment and Tracking

We will send you a message regarding the shipment of your order as soon as the items are handed over to the Courier Company. These alert messages will contain the tracking number and the Courier Company’s website details.

Tracking numbers for orders shipped may take 24 business hours to become active on the courier websites.
๐ฐ VAT & Custom Duties

Buyer Responsibility: VAT/Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. They vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer.

Exclusion from Price: VAT/Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our product prices or ordering process.

Additional Charges: International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country. The courier company may also charge some additional service charges over and above the custom duty on a case-by-case basis. These charges are entirely your responsibility.
For USA Customers: As per U.S. Customs regulations and tariffs, clothing imports from India may be subject to import duties or taxes. Duties are usually charged at the time of delivery by the courier partners (like DHL, FedEx, UPS, ARAMEX) or by U.S. Customs. The customer is fully responsible for paying any such customs duties/taxes to release the shipment.
For EU Customers: From 1st July 2021, VAT is applicable on all shipments delivered in the EU. The duty and VAT must be borne by the customers. The prices shown on products do not include TAXES & VAT amount. Failure to pay customs duties/taxes may result in non-delivery of your order, for which Ethnic Vastram cannot be held liable.
โณ What if any Delays

Times to ship mentioned on our website against each item are indicative and approximate values only.

Due to situations beyond our control, delays may occur. No refund, returns, replacement, or exchange will be entertained for this reason.

If, for any reason, there is going to be an unusual delay in shipping (e.g., if an item is out of stock), we will notify you by message.

Any dates for delivery are approximate only, and we are not liable for any delay in delivering your order or any part of it.
๐ Returns Policy (Strictly Enforced)
Our policy is built on the assurance of product quality before dispatch.
- No General Returns/Exchanges: We maintain a strict policy of NO RETURNS and NO EXCHANGES on all products sold, including all stitched, ready-made, and unstitched items. All sales are considered final.
- The only exception to the No Return policy is for a product that is confirmed to be damaged or defective upon receipt, provided the damage was caused by Ethnic Vastram prior to dispatch.
- Any complaint regarding damage, stains, or stitching issues must be reported to us within 24 hours of the receipt of the products. We may ask for a digital picture and/or mandatory unboxing video evidence clearly showing the damage to review the claim.
- If damage is caused by the Customer (improper handling, washing, modification) or by the Courier Partner during transit, Ethnic Vastram will not be responsible and will not process a refund or replacement.
- We will not refund the shipping charges paid by you while purchasing the item.
- We will not refund the customs duties or taxes, if applicable, or paid by you at the time of receiving the goods.
- The customer must first contact us through the Contact Us page on the website before returning any product. If you return the products without notifying us first, we will not provide any refund.
- Customer needs to bear the shipping cost while returning the damaged products to our office.
- Upon inspection of the confirmed, eligible damage claim, we will issue a full refund of the product value (excluding initial shipping, duties, and return shipping costs).
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method and may take 4-6 working days to reflect once we issue the refund from our side.
- At any point in time, the refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.
